connection train time

Hi I would like to purchase train from Zurich airport to Lucerne, there is a connecting train which only 5 minutes, the walking icon display is '5. Does it mean walk distance is 5 seconds? If I missed the connecting train, can I take the next available train?

Hello @chris9

If it says '5 the timetable, that means you need about 5 minutes to change plattforms. But the times are calculated very generously and you will have enough time to reach the connecting train. In order to not take any risk, I recommend you to buy a normal fare ticket for this trip rather than a saver ticket.

I wish you an excellent afternoon. Regards Rahel
