Validity of SBB saver Day Pass

To whom it may concern,

I would like to know if SBB saver day pass (1day without half fare) is valid to use ICE train from Köln to Interlaken and return during the validity of the ticket. Or is it only valid to use all kinds of trains including ICE,NJ, RE… throughout the Switzerland?
I would be very thankful if you kindly give me a reply.

Thank you for your request.

The saver day pass is valid on all trains in Switzerland. However, please note that some trains have a mandatory reservation.
