Swiss travel pass and passport.

Hi. I am planning to buy Swiss travel pass on line. Do I need to show my passport every time I travel using this pass. We will be 4 people . It seems tough to go places keeping passport in bag. Please advise , if any other form of ID is accepted ( driver license and school ID)

Thank you for your request.

It does not have to be mandatory that the passport must be shown at every control. However, the passport must always be carried with you because the controller can demand it at any time.
