How do I book Ski'n'Rail to Wengen? Site leaves me with gap from Interlaken Ost to Wengen!

1 ACCEPTED SOLUTION

Hi @Redmichelle and @TonyWitts

Thank you for your question.

The destination can be set to either Grindelwad Terminal or Wengen, so that there is no gap from Interlaken Ost to the final destination.

As you can see, in this example I set following dates:

08.03.2022: Journey Brig to Grindelwald
09.03 and 10.03.2022: 2 days skipass
11.03.2022: Journey Grindelwald to Brig

Please call our colleagues at the SBB Contact Center (0848 44 66 88, CHF 0.08/Min) for more information and for customized support.

I wish you a great day.

Kind regards

Hello @TonyWitts

On the sbb.ch website with the Snow'n'Rail Jungfraujoch offer you can first select the ski pass number of days and further down the journey, depending on where you start. So you can either book the ski pass including the train ride with up to 20% discount or only the ski pass with individual travel.

For further information please contact the Contact Center at +41 (0) 848 44 66 88 (CHF 0.08/min.).

I wish you a nice day and good trip!

Greetings, VlaznimA.

Hi with regards to your reply you have still not advised with regards to the gap in the journey.  I have done the same but the train journey only allows you to get to Interlaken Ost for the full region pass, only when you chose the Grindlewald/Wengen pass does the journey take you to Lauterbrunnen.  So does that mean we have to pay for the additional journey from Interlaken Ost to Wengen? Thanks

I have the same question. Interlaken Ost to Wengen is covered by the Jungfrau ski pass but how does this offer work if the ski pass is set to start the day after the journey to Interlaken Ost and on to Wengen? Similarly, if the return rail journey from Wengen to Interlaken Ost and onwards is on the day after the ski pass ends? SBB website does not allow Interlaken Ost to Wengen ticket to be purchased at 20% discount and presumably this has to be purchased separately at full price??
