SaverDay pass validity in Eurocity train travel

I am travelling from Lucerne to Milan in Eurocity train, I have Saverday pass with Half-fare card.

Is the travel from lucerne -> Chiasso, with saverday pass is valid  in Eurocity train ?

Thank you for your question.

The Saver Day Pass is valid only up to the Chiasso border point. Then you need a ticket for the rest of the trip and a seat reservation for the entire trip.
