Point to Point Travel Card

Hi, 

I will be traveling back and forth from Zurich to Luzern for the next month and am wondering if the point-to-point card is valid in just one direction or both directions. For example do I need to buy  one for Zurich-Luzern and then buy another for the return trip? Or is buying one sufficient?

Thank you for your query.
