Good morning,
I am not resident in Switzerland but I travelled by train from Bern to Milan on business. I would like an invoice in the name of my company for the ticket I purchased in order to obtain a refund. How can I get one?

Tickets purchased online can be used for tax returns or expense reports.
According to the practice of the Federal Tax Administration the VAT on input can be deducted. The imprint of the VAT rate and the code of the selling transport company on the ticket are sufficient for the input tax deduction.

Thank you for your request.
We only accept refunds for international travel before departure and by phone at the SBB Contact Center 0848 44 66 88 (CHF 0.08/min). After departure, a refund is no longer possible.
