Half fare card

I want to ask for the pilatus golden round trip, it cost for $102.6 for adult and $51.7 for childern. If I bought a half fare card, is that I can use it, and finally cost for$51.7 for adult , and free for my 2kids age 6and 8, since I can get a free family card with my half fare card?

And can I buy the train tickets in apps earlier and choose half fare price first? I only need to show the tickets and half fare card together when I get on the trains/cable car etc, am I correct?

Hello @TracyyHo

Correct, if you buy a Half-Fare travelcard, you benefit from the lower price. And the children travel free with the family card (also on the golden round trip).

You can buy train tickets for Switzerland a maximum of 60 days in advance.

Tickets marked with "½" are valid for:
- Half-Fare Card holders (valid for 1 year)
- Swiss Half-Fare Card holders (valid for 1 month)
- Children from 6 - 15,99 years old
- Unaccompanied children under 6 years of age

You must present your ticket and Half-Fare travelcard on the train.

Kind regards
