Friends day pass for youth (purchase)

Hello,

We three friends are going to visit Switzerland this summer and wanna buy this day pass (all of us are under 25). However, I have 2 questions on purchasing the ticket.

1. Is there a deadline for purchasing this ticket?

2. When I try to add the co-passenger information, the total price becomes to CHF 160. I am wondering upon purchasing, how can I add my friends' information in the ticket without increasing the price? Or only one of us purchases the ticket is enough (with only my information on the ticket), and we can use this when we travel together later?

Hi @qkmbz 

1. What do you mean for deadline? When you board a train, you have to be sure to have a valid ticket.

2. The name of only one passenger has to be on the ticket. Therefore, this "main" passenger always has to be with the group. All other passangers just have to prove with an ID that they are under 25 years old.

For “Deadlines”, I mean if there is a date which is the last day to buy the ticket? For example, if I am coming in August, can I buy the ticket in August? Or the ticket is no longer  available at that time?

As far as I know, the Friends Day Pass for Youth does not have an expiration date planned. This means, the pass should also be bookable (and usable) in August.
