Can one use Interrail One Country Pass on Swiss regional and local trains?

Hi,

I will have two visitors soon in Switzerland and they are planning to book a 4-days-in-a-month  Interrail One Country Pass for CH.

We were wondering if this pass can be used in both regional and local trains. Would we have a problem while going from Sion all the way up to Lauterbrunnen? Also I was wondering if we can take any express trains like Bernina? Former is more important since otherwise i may book saver day passes for them so that we can visit the mountain villages.

Thanks!

Hi @okadioglu

A travel day from the Interrail Pass lasts for one day from midnight to midnight. On a travel day you have access to the train networks where the Interrail Pass is valid.

Here you have the link to the map of the whole validity area from the Interrail-Pass Swiss : Click here

The Interrail Pass is valid for travel on the Bernina train. However, you must make a seat reservation, which is not included.
