8 days in Bernese Oberland with family - confused about options!

I will travel by train from Zurich Airport to Wengen on 31 July and return on 7 August with my husband and 2 children aged 12 and 15.  Once in Wengen, we will do day trips around the Bernese Oberland region, possibly including trips to Jungfrau Joch and Interlaken. I am so confused about which passes/tickets make the most sense.  I understand we are eligible for a Family Pass for the children but don't know which passes and tickets make sense for the 2 adults.  So grateful for any advice!

Hi @tgrubic

Thank you for your quesiton.

You can either buy the Swiss Travel Pass or the Swiss Half Fare Card, you are eligible for both: International guests | SBB

It really depends how often you are travelling by train. I suggest you check the prices of single journeys (with 50% off) and see if it is cheaper to buy 50% off tickets every time or directly a Swiss Travel Pass.

For more question please contact our SBB Contact Center (0041 848 44 66 88, CHF 0.08/min).

I wish you a nice day.
