Dear Community Members! I am a Ukrainian traveling through Switzerland to Austria. After my long way I was really exhausted yesterday night. At the information desk in Italy they told me I need to show my passport to the ticket officer in the train and he will print me a ticket for free. The connection in Zurich was very short. I ran quickly from train to train with my luggage. Found a place to sit and I was the only person in the carriage. The ticket officer came up to me and told me I could get a ticket only with status S from Switzerland. She opened some website and told me “Here, go read from the start - the first sentence in Ukrainian! You must pay now!” But the first sentence in Ukrainian was about showing the identity document only. She told me, “no, you should read it again, you lie, pay now” - like I was some kind of slave. I tried to explain that I didn’t account on this expense- (and it was 47€) - because at the information desk I was told I just need to show passport to the officer. She didn’t care. I didn’t have much money left on card and I didn’t exchange my money, so I payed by card and went off the train earlier than my destination point. I was tired and upset. The attitude was also not nice, though I was very polite and calm. Am I wrong?
