Dear SBB, I've tried to find a direct message option, but it is better this way. Simply put, SBB needs to help the environment and help us avoid using cars to commute to work. It has done so (despite the very expensive prices if compared to other countries in the region), but not anymore. Why? Because after Covid, the reality of the workplace is not the same anymore. I live in Zh and work in Zg, but I don't need, and cannot pay a full monthly or yearly abo, since I will not be using the service all days of the week. If we, the users of SBB don't conmute every day, it could be wiser from SBB to offer abos that reflect the change of times (and that still reflect a discount, not the individual fare multiplied by X). Meaning that you, SBB will greatly help the citizens of CH if you offer an abo that offers us flexibility, allowing people to travel 1, 2, 3 days a week. And charging less, of course. Otherwise, SBB might not be covering for their fixed costs (if you have experienced less abos in your accounts), and or, collaborating with the high levels of CO2 in car emissions, since people that only go 2/3 times a week will might want to go by car. Likewise, SBB would be contributing to solve traffic issues during rush hours in many Swiss metropolitan areas. I would definitely be a client of an abo that reflects the value of a reduced use, and bringing flexibility, like 1-3 days a week. Of course, how to make sure people don't cheat is for SBB to think about, but I'm sure your state of the art systems might devise something, like a check in everytime one uses it on a given day for it to be valid. The alternative of being adapted to times are less revenues for SBB, increased CO2 emissions, and more (unnecessary) trafic in Swiss metropolitan areas... SBB can make the difference, and help us help the environment, and our families in times of scarcity, since gas should be used in transport and for Swiss farmers, not for us to conmute. So, SBB, are you up to the challenge these new times are bringing about? Sincerely yours, Nicolás
