Hi Can someone please confirm if trains work on Christmas Day in Switzerland? 1. We will be in Zurich or Zermatt (not sure yet) on 25th December and will be coming back to Geneva on this day so we are thinking of either using normal train service or Glacier express to come back to Geneva as there willl be nothing much to do in the whole countrydue to lack of services available. Just don't want a dead Christmas sitting in a hotel on his day and we have 4days in total anyway to see Switzerland from Geneva to anywhere including Zermat, Alps, Zurich, Interlaken etc. 2. Also if possible, can someone please confirm if I need to buy Swiss family pass and glacier together or is it either will do? I am planning to buy swiss pass and course glacier for scienery view but how do they both work together? should I buy 1 pass for half of the days and glacier for couple of days? or I must have Swiss pass to have glacier pass/reservations?
