Thanks. Allow me to extend .... if everyhitng goes according to plan, this will be the itinerary:

12/26: Train from Zurich to Tasch, 1 senior, 1 adult, 2 young

12/27-12/28: multiple rides betwen Tasch and Zermatt

12/29: Return to Zurich

Any better option or should I just buy the 4 x round trips as Point to Point?

Family of 4 US Citizens, 3 are EU citizens, will need to take a train from Zurich Airport to Täsch on December 26th returning on the 29th. Need to understand what the best cost effective options are. Except the shuttle from Tash to Zermatt, for 2 days, we will not ride any other form of public transportation during our stay. Thanks in advanced.

Hello @phermi

I can suggest two different offers:

Point to point ticket: This ticket is valid all day long on the chosen route, which can be an advantage if you arrive by plane and they sometimes land late. You can buy this ticket simply by using the timetable on the start page of www.sbb.ch.

Saver Day Pass: The Saver Day Pass means that you can spend a day travelling throughout Switzerland.  The earlier you book, the lower the price. Saver Day Passes can easily be bought using the smartphone app or at www.sbb.ch

For children under the age of 16 years I recommend either the Junior-Travelcard or Children's day passes.

Hope I could help you with this information and wish you an unforgettable time in Switzerland.
