Betreff: Digital FIP Tickets

As a Deutsche Bahn FIP card holder, I purchased a return journey paper tickets for regional trips in Switzerland. The tickets were purchased in Germany. I forgot these tickets at home, but have managed to get them as photographs.

Are the photos valid? (How) Can I get these tickets converted to a digital / paperless form?

Hello @panditsm 

No. Paper tickets must be physically available and presented as such during ticket check. Any copy is not accepted.

It is the same as you would go to the Aldi store and present the cashier a photo of your 20 Euro bill.

Somewhere I was hoping, that a combination of data points on the ticket (transaction date, place, debit card + bank account screemshot, etc.) might make the ticket attributable to just one person (or family). In fact, there is also a QR code on the ticket, but probably readable only by Bahn-specific devices.

To stick to your analogy, something like trying to convince the cashier, that "this 20 Euro bill can't logically belong to anyone else" 😉.
