Hello and welcome to the SBB Community. What would you like to do?
Hi, When booking the tickets, I had registered the wrong birth year for my partner (1986 instead of 1985). I read on the FAQ that if the incorrect info is only a single number, the tickets would still be considered valid. Would I need to consult with any of the staffs at the station before using it? Or can we just use it and explain when we show our ID on the train? Thanking you in advance.
Hello @bormikstel5
Thank you for your query.
You can confirm the ticket before you start your travel by showing an identification document at a SBB ticket counter. But this is not absolutely necessary.
I wish you a nice day.
Kind regards,
FatimaH
Affirm the ticket before you start your movement by indicating a recognizable proof record at a SBB ticket counter. In any case, this isn't totally essential.

It was a typing error, I meant jet2, which is a legitimate airline provider.
