Time and seats

Hi.
I booked two tickets for Montreux and Geneve.

I chose the date and time at the time table, but the tickets are displayed in a form that can be used throughout the day.

So the time zone I selected during the reservation is not meaningful? I wonder if it is not possible to confirm the time and the seat.

Assuming you bought a regular ticket [not a Super Saver], for most trains you can (for an extra fee) reserve a seat, but in most cases there are sufficient empty seats, so reserving a seat would not be necessary.

But (from personal experience) DO NOT use the RE (local) on that route.
