Tickets on Mobile App

I've downloaded the SBB Mobile App onto my iphone and will be purchasing the half fare card.  I see that you can purchase bus and boat tickets on the App.  Is the ticket on my phone sufficient if requested to show a ticket on the buses and boats, or do you need a printed copy?  I will have printed the half fare card and carry that with me.

Does this also apply to cable cars in the mountains as well?  I can just purchase the tickets via the App and not stand in line to buy tickets?

Thank you.

I purchased a ticket from Zurich to Milan and return. I see the return ticket in the application (from Milan to Zurich), however not the ticket out (from Zurich to Milan). I purchased the ticket in one exchange, and I paid for both together when I clearly was signed in else I wouldn't see the return ticket all things considered. How might I add it to the application?

I had the same issue, and it's not a bug! You have to swipe right/left to see all the tickets you've purchased.

Hello @Judidench

Thank you for your query.

Tickets that you buy with a login at SBB.ch, whether for travel in Switzerland or abroad, are displayed automatically in SBB Mobile under “Journeys and tickets”.

We are currently not aware that the trips are not displayed. Please contact the specialists by email at ticketshop@sbb.ch.

I wish you a nice day.

Kind regards, AferditaH

Hello @dktaylor8

You don't have to print out the tickets if you can buy it via the app.

Information about the app you will find here: https://www.sbb.ch/en/timetable/mobile-apps/sbb-mobile.html
