Swiss travel pass question.

New Author
So I'm travelling to Luzern for a week and wanted to go around different places. I was wondering what would be the most cost efficient way to go around places like Bern, Pilatus, Flüelen, Interlaken, etc. Is the day pass the best way to go? Or should I purchase the half price thing with the Swiss Pass? I'm still trying to wrap my head around how the swiss travel pass works. Thanks for your time!

Hi @balramdau94, happy new year 🙂

All offers of the Swiss Travel System (STS) are exclusively for foreign guests. They are personal and non-transferable. If you have a Swiss Travel Pass, you do not have to buy additional tickets for your train journeys. For the use of some trains/boats/buses a seat reservation and/or surcharge is required: e.g. Glacier Express, Bernina Express, Gotthard Panorama Express, Chocolate Train.

With the Half-Fare Card you pay CHF 185.- for one year and additionally the tickets for the train journeys at half price.

If you have any further questions, please call our Contact Center at 0848 44 66 88 (CHF 0.08/min.).

Greetings, VlaznimA.
