Swiss Half Fare Card

Stefan92

Hello,

I will be travelling to Switzerland from Australia (flying in to Geneva Airport) in March and I plan on purchasing a 1 month Swiss Half Fare Card to reduce my fares across Switzerland.

If I purchase it online, is it possible to collect the physical pass somewhere with my passport once I land in Geneva? The reason I am asking is because I would like to purchase a reduced Peak 2 Peak pass for the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise and I have been informed that in order to buy that ticket online, I need a physical SwissPass that it can be charged to.

Thank you for your assistance.

Stefan

Hi @Stefan92

Thank you for your request.

The Swiss Half Fare Card is not registered on the SwissPass card. It is not possible to collect a SwissPass card at the station ticket office. For the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise offer, it is not necessary to have a SwissPass card,  I advise you to go directly to the counter at Zermatt.

Thank you for your understanding and have a nice weekend.

Kind regards
