Hello and welcome to the SBB Community. What would you like to do?
I've bought a Swiss Half-Fare Card. But whenever I'm buying a single-journey ticket, a Saver Day Pass or Day Pass for 2 on the SBB website, only Half-Fare travelcard is listed as a discount option. Apparently in the case of single-journey ticket, Swiss Half-Fare Card is available. But as to Saver Day Pass or Day Pass for 2, or trains from, say, Interlaken to Salzburg, it's really hard to tell whether a Swiss Half-Fare Card is still available. So, on SBB website, where are both cards acceptable, and where is only Half-Fare travelcard acceptable? Can anyone help me? Many thanks!
Hello @coreystol61
Thank you for your query.
The Day Pass for the Half Fare Travelcard can only be purchased with a Half Fare travelcard. Point-to-point tickets, Supersaver tickets or Supersaver Day Passes can be purchased with a Half-Fare travelcard as well as without any discount.
You can enter whether you have a discount or not under "Discount Cards".
For international travel, you will also be asked if you have discounts in Switzerland and abroad. For further questions, contact the Contact Centre on 0848 44 66 88 (CHF 00.08/min).
I wish you a nice day.
Kind regards, AferditaS
