Saver Day Pass

KalaiKC

Hi

I am visiting Switzerland and will travel from Basel to Zermatt. In the on-line purchase I see saver day pass price and point to point ticket price. Must I buy a saver day pass to enjoy the lesser priced ticket?

Thanks

Hi @KalaiKC

Saver Day Tickets are valid for the use of public transport anywhere in the country during a whole day, including, of course, also the there-and-back journey from Basel to Zermatt. This pass is available with or without a Half Fare travelcard.

You must just be aware that, saver day products (saver day point-to-point tickets and saver day passes) have special refund terms and conditions.

A two ways point-to-point ticket allows you to go from Basel to Zermatt on the same day, stopping as many times as you need during the trip, as long as you stick to your chosen route.

If you have further questions, please call our Contact Center 0041 848 44 66 88 (CHF 0.08/Min). If you are calling from abroad and this number doesn't work, please try 0041 51 225 78 00.

Best wishes. EllenvS.
