Milan to Lauterbrunnen trip with Saver Day Pass

We need to travel from Milan to Lauterbrunnen  and want to use the Saver Day Pass. What tickets do we need to purchase since it includes a trip from Italy? We will also be purchasing a half fare pass.

Thanks

Thank you for the response. Are you saying that we are unable to take the most direct route of Milan/Spiez/Interlaken/Lauterbrunnen and utilize the Saver Day Pass? We want to take that most direct route and are in search of the fastest option. Also, the link you shared for the Half Fare Travelcard reflects a cost of $185, whereas I see a price of $120 for what seems to be the same pass here https://www.myswissalps.com/swisshalffarecard/price Is there a difference?

Hi @DMR

Thank you for your response.

No the Saver Day Pass is only valid on the Swiss route. In order to use the  Saver Day Pass on the Swiss part of the route, you must take a connection with an intermediate stop and then buy a ticket from Milan to the Swiss border. The Swiss Half Fare Card costs CHF 120 and is only valid for one month. The link that my colleague has sent you is a Half Fare Card for one year at a price of CHF 185. The subscription is automatically renewed every year without cancellation. Here you can find the information about the Swiss Half fare Card for CHF 120.-https://www.sbb.ch/en/leisure-holidays/inspiration/international-guests/swiss-halffare-card.html

For more information contact our SBB Conact Center.

I wish you a nice day.
