How can I change my passenger's name on my ticket?

Dear SBB,

I made the typo while booking the train by misplacing letter o with u of my friend's first name. However, both names are shown on his passport (one with letter u is his real name while the other with letter o is listed under foreign name).

In this case, considering the name under the reservation was shown on the passport, do we need to change the passenger's name?

Tickets that have already been purchased cannot be changed. In this case, a new ticket must be purchased. For further information, please contact our staff (0848 44 66 88, CHF 0.08/min).
