Half-fare card - Short trip April 2023

Hi! I'm planning a trip for 3 days with my mom in April 2023. We are foreigners and I'm interested in getting the Half-fare card but I haven't found enough information about it. I would like to know, do we need to buy two cards (one for each) or, can we only buy one card and use it to buy tickets for both of us?

Hello @an-melendz 

Each person must hold a Swiss Half Fare Card. You are then entitled to buy reduced tickets and will benefit from 50% on mountain railways and cable cars. The Swiss Half Fare Card is worth if you will spend a total of CHF 240 for full fare tickets per person.

In my opinion, as you only travel 3 days, the Swiss Travel Pass for 3 days might be an adequate alternative.
