Extension ticket from Geneva to Ferney

Hi,

I currently have season pass/ticket for Zone 10 which covers Geneva.

I understand that there are buses which run from Geneva to Ferney in France.

May i know how do i resolve the payment for such buses? Do i just buy one zone extension on the SBB app?

How long is this extension pass valid for?
