Hello and welcome to the SBB Community. What would you like to do?
Hi SBB,
I have questions regarding the easter promotion for companion ticket. I am travelling to Switzerland with my husband from end of april till early may (one week). My questions are as following:
1. If I own the half fare card and buy the Saver Day Pass, is that valid for my husband to get the companion ticket?
2. Can we buy the companion ticket for several days or is there any limit to how many days for the companion tickets?
3. The ticket is valid on GA area routes, but I don't understand the term of connection tickets, (which only holder of half fare get the reduced price). What is the connection ticket means in the terms and conditions?
4. And what does reduced 1 day travelpasses means? (in the terms, municipal 1-day travel pass, special 1-day travel pass)
Thank you so much in advanced. Hope to get the clarifications from SBB regarding these.
Kind regards,
Kiera
Hello Kiera,
Your husband can travel with the companion card if you have a half-fare card and a saver day pass.
The companion card can be purchased for several days, there are no special restrictions.
If your Companion makes a part of the trip without you, he must buy an additional ticket, this is called the connection ticket.
I wish you a pleasant day.
Kind regards,
CharlineB
