Hello and welcome to the SBB Community. What would you like to do?
Hi,
I wanted to confirm how the "Day pass for 2" works.
There are 3 people (A, B, C) that want to travel together,
and one of them has halb tax (say person A).
If they buy two such tickets (each 75 chf), so that
ticket 1 is valid for person A and B, while
ticket 2 is valid for person A and C, does that work?
I have found nothing in the rules on the SBB website that would prevent this:
It only says:
"* is valid for two people travelling together. At least one person must hold a valid Half-Fare travelcard or GA;"
This seem to make each of the two tickets valid. The rules talk about one such ticket, so implicitly they apply independently to each of the two tickets, and since there is nothing about preventing one person to travel with two valid tickets... it seems to be possible, right?
Hi @Ax
Thank you for your request
This combination is not possible. The day pass for 2 is valid for 2 persons. You cannot buy two tickets for 3 persons. For the 3rd person, I recommend the Supersaver Day Pass: https://www.sbb.ch/en/travelcards-and-tickets/tickets-for-switzerland/1-day-travelpass/saver-day-pas....
Best Regards
