Hello and welcome to the SBB Community. What would you like to do?
Is it possible to use a Saver Day Pass on a day trip from Chiasso (Italian border town) to Luzern? I'm staying in Como and will catch an Italian train to Chiasso and then an SBB train to Luzern, via Goschenen (not the Gottard, even though it is the same route).
If it's possible, do I buy the SDP first and then return tickets or are they the tickets without having to buy anything else?
Any other suggestions on how to get from Como to Luzern as a day trip?
Thank you!
Thank you!
Hello @Katemdf
Thank you for your query.
Yes, it's valid for the journey from Chiasso to Luzern and return.
The Saver Day Pass is valid throughout the day for multiple journeys. The Saver Day Passes are marked accordingly, which are available without a Half-Fare Card. All informations can be found in the following link: https://www.sbb.ch/en/travelcards-and-tickets/tickets-for-switzerland/1-day-travelpass/saver-day-pas....
I wish you a nice trip in Switzerland.
