Cheapest way to travel Switzerland for 3 days

New Author

Hello. I'm from Canada and will be travelling from Basel to Interlaken June 3. From there going to Top or Europe and boat cruise on Biern and some sighteeing. Then June 4 to Lake Lucerne and area and June 5 to Zurich. I'm wondering what is my best option for my husband and I. It's very confusing. Should I wait and book a couple days in advance to get supersaver tickets? Or is a pass the cheapest way to go? Thank you!

Hi @ValerieH

Depending on the trips you intend to do by train, desired flexibility and the availability of special offers, the offer Swiss Travel System or the Regional-Pass Berner Oberland is better than an ordinary/standard ticket.

Price information within Switzerland is available in the Ticket Shop.
