Card/pass confusion!

New Member

Hello. Trying to get my head around the different train passes in Switzerland. Totally confused. We are a family of four travelling for a week in February with no set itinerary. We will maybe do 4-6 train journeys. Do we need a 'Swiss Pass' to get a Half Price Card. What is a Family Card and is that better and what do we need first to obtain one. If you have any of the above, do you also buy Day Savers?? Help!! There are spreadsheets etc to work it out but it's all too much....😲
