Advice on train travel from Italy to Switzerland, only 5 days in Switzerland

2 of us will be travelling from Italy to Switzerland in April and need advise as to which option is best and most economical for train travel:

April 9 - Milan to Basel

April 12 - Basel to Geneva

I recommend that you check whether there are any Supersaver Tickets for your desired route or a Saver Day Pass for Switzerland.
