Hello and welcome to the SBB Community. What would you like to do?
Hello, In last day in Swiss, I and my husband will go to Paris and we bought supersaver ticket from Grindelwald to Basel SBB.
But, I've heard that it will be construction between Interlaken Ost - Zweilutschinen on that day and there will be a train replacement with busses.
I've know that supersaver ticket only vaild on that train and on that time.
If the bus were delayed and we were missed the next train from Interlaken Ost to Basel SBB for going to Paris, how can we go to Basel station? In that case, can we receive a new ticket?
Hi @honeycoffee
For public transportation within Switzerland, the following rule applies: “Where a train is cancelled or delayed or a route is closed, you may use the next connection with confirmation from the ticket inspector or sales agent.” You can find this information under “questions and answers” at: https://www.sbb.ch/en/travelcards-and-tickets/tickets-for-switzerland/supersaver-tickets.html.
Since you have to take an international train connection, I recommend you the following: It is best to take an earlier bus to make sure you don't miss the train. The TGV does not run as regularly as other trains.
Kind regards
SandraI
