Compulsory SwissID for post.ch account?

Today the post sent me an email, telling me I need to create a SwissID in the next 10 days to continue using my account. I'd actually rather not, for the same reason I never use google/facebook logins. Does anyone know if there is a way around it? It sucks that they're trying to force me into a SwissID in order to continue using their basic service...
