Tirano to St Moritz on Bernina Express

Hi all. I'm from Australia. Travelling to Switzerland in September 2023. I'm seeking confirmation I am buying the right thing when travelling from Tirano Italy to St Moritz on the Bernina Express.

Would l buy:
(a) train ticket point to point (Tirano to St Mortiz) Adult CHF 32.00 (SBB Mobile app site)
(b) then buy a seat reservation CHF 32.00 on the official Bernina Express website?

Does this sound right? Given price is the same I feel like I'm buying two tickets instead of a reservation, and would just like to check I'm doing the right thing.

The price for your ticket from Tirano to St. Moritz is CHF 32.00 in 2nd class. The seat reservation per direction and person is CHF 26.00

RR23 - you may have travelled by now but I only just saw this message. But in case someone else is looking, here is the link to buy the tickets WITHOUT reservation. I'm just doing mine now.
I found the button to buy tickets without reservation under the SHOP menu on the RhB website.
