Swiss Pass postal code

How does a UK resident enter their Swiss Pass postcode (in my case 6 digits separated by a space in the middle) on ticket websites that only have space for the Swiss 4?

For example;

https://www.gornergrat.ch 

would I just have to find an alternative site or just visit the ticket office in person?

This also works for the UK postcode.

Examples: W8 5P2 / W1H 2BQ / RH17 7EY (the letters always in upper case).

Thanks for your reply, I understand the correct formatting for entering my postcode (XXX XXX) however on the above example on gornergrat.ch, only numbers are allowed to be entered on the ticket form, and only 4. So I’m guessing I’ll have to purchase via the app or another website.
