Hi..I am from Sweden, plan my travel to Switzerland 8-21 august. Can I use the saver day pass travel from Zurich to Grindenwald? As I already bought the saver day pass for 9 august but I am not sure and confused if I really bought the right ticket, it stands "Valid for one person in the GA Travelcard area of validity". Do i have to have GA Travelcard to use the saver day pass? The saver say pass is not for tourists who do not swiss pass?

Hi @Foni

Yes you can travel with a saver day pass from Zurich to Grindelwald. You don't need a swiss pass or a GA travelcard for using a saver day pass. A GA travelcard is an abonnement which is valid on the most trains, busses and boats in Switzerland. The saver day pass has the same area of validity like a GA travelcard. In this area you can travel for one day as much as you like. Zurich and Grindelwald are included in this area.

Here you can find the map of the GA Travelcard area of validity: https://www.sbb.ch/content/dam/internet/sbb/en/abos-billette/abonnemente/karte-geltungsbereich-ga-ha...

I wish you a nice time in Switzerland.

Hii @Foni @Ticinomeitli

That is correct. It is also important to mention that the day pass is available with or without the Half-Fare Card discount. Note to buy the day pass with the right one.

Have also a quick look at the terms and conditions of a day pass: sbb.ch/help-and-contact

I wish you a lot of fun and unforgettable moments in Switzerland.

Kind regards
