Hello and welcome to the SBB Community. What would you like to do?
I purchased a saver day pass to get from Zurich to Zermatt but I purchased it in 2nd class and checked out as a guest.
I now created an account - is there a way to transfer these tickets to my account now?
I also changed my mind and want to upgrade from 2nd to 1st class, how can I do this? Do I have to call?
Thank you!
Hello @martaswi
Tickets bought as a guest cannot be transferred to a personal account later.
@uebe is right concerning the upgrade. Even a day class upgrade would be possible, provided you have the Swiss Half Fare Card.
You can find the possible upgrade options here: https://www.sbb.ch/en/travelcards-and-tickets/tickets-for-switzerland/class-upgrades-supersaver-clas...
Best regards,
Roland
Hi @martaswi
As far as I know, it is not possible to transfer the tickets to your account.
Regarding the upgrade: If you are travelling with a Half Fare Travelcard and a 2nd class Saver Day Pass, you can buy 1-day class upgrades for journeys in 1st class as well as discounted route-specific (Saver) Class Upgrade. If you do not have a Half Fare Travelcard, you will have to pay the full price for a route-specific (Saver) Class Upgrade.
If you need assistance, please contact the SBB Contact Center: Tel. +41 848 44 66 88 (CHF 0.08/min.) (available 24/7, sometimes you may be required to wait)
