Interrail pass von Basel SBB bis Lörrach?

Nacl
New Author

My family and I are travelling from Copenhagen, Denmark, to Basel SBB with interrail pass friday night to saturday morning. From Basel we need to take a local train (S6) to Schwarzwaldstrasse in Lörrach, Germany, saturday morning, where we pick up a car. Can we use our interrail passes or do we need to buy a local train ticket? And which ticket do we buy for two adults and two children, age 6 and 8? Thank you!

Hello @Nacl

I recommend that you ask the railway where you bought your passport if it is also valid in your country of residence and if you can travel to the border without buying an additional ticket.

With the Interrail Global Pass you can travel within your country of residence (33 countries). However, the journey must be entered in the Interrail App.

You can find more information here: What is my country of residence? (interrail.eu)
