I am looking for some assistance with tickets. Below is my itinerary. I will be flying from the US to Paris and then onto Zurich
-Fly from Paris to Zurich Day 1
-Train Zurich to Grindelwald Day 1 - While in Grindelwald, I want to go to Top of First, possibly visit towns close by such as Lauterbrunnen.
-Train Grindelwald to Zermatt Day 4 - Not sure what I will be doing here, hoping for lots of pictures of Matterhorn and surrounding area.
-Train Zermatt to Paris Day 6
Looking for the best ticket option for these. Suggestions for Swiss Travel Pass, individual tickets. Is it possible to purchase the Saver Day Pass? What tips do you have for the Saver Day Pass? I saw several thoughts mention it won't cover mountain journeys. How do I determine if something is a "mountain journey"? Several people have mentioned discounts for things like the gondolas if I purchase the Swiss Travel Pass. Where can I find what the discount amounts are? Would it be worth the extra money spent on the Swiss Travel Pass?
