Half Fare Card

I am going to fly to Switzerland and stay for 6 months. I would like to buy Half Fare Card online before arrival but cannot proceed with the identity check as the system doesn't send me the link to continue. Is it possible to buy with the order form and send the form through email to receive the card before arriving in Switzerland? If not, can I register for Swiss Pass and buy the Half Fare card at the Zurich Airport Train Station when I arrive and use it right away?

Thank you very much for your question. 

It depends when are you leaing your country to come to Switzerland. 

If it is in more than a month, you can purchase it with the order form, and wait for the SwssPass (with the half fare travelacard o it) card directly at home.

If you are coming to Switzerland soon, there probably is not enough time, and the best option is to purchase everything directly at the Zürich Airport Station. You will be able to use it directly.

Help!  I am not visiting Switzerland for about 2 months and I just bought the  swiss half fare card (1 month) but it has the wrong start date.  How do I change it/get a refund. Thank you.

Refunds can only be made through the Contact Center. Please contact the SBB contact center 0848 44 66 88 (CHF 0.08/Min.).

Please note that before the first day of validity a refund with a deductible of CHF 10.- is guaranteed. On the 1st day of validity or later, we require proof of non-use and the deductible is 15%. Thank you.
