Forgot son’s SwissPass with JuniorKarte

SOLVED

I’m skiing with my 6 years old son and we will return to Zurich by tren in two days. We will take 4 trains so we may be controlled 4 times.

I don’t have the children’s SwissPass where he has the JuniorKarte to travel free with me.

Can I just give the name to the controller? If I get a fine, can I get it cancelled by providing the SwissPass later?

thanks

Hello @Mikelson

Have you linked the son's SwissPass with your SwissPass account by any chance? If yes, then the ticket inspector can see the son's Junior card when checking your ticket (SwissPass).

If not, you can either contact the ticket counter of any station to get a replacement Junior Card valid for 2 days or you simply tell the conductor that you have left it at home and they will issue a replacement Junior Card. In both cases you pay CHF 5 for the replacement Junior Card.

Best regards,
Roland
