Find supersaver tickets - new platform.

Dear SBB Community

Our Business Development department has developed a new platform that enables you to search specifically for supersaver tickets. We are happy to be able to share this with you now.

Is there demand for selecting a destination based on the availability of supersaver tickets? We would like to conduct a market test to find out. To this end, we have created the ‘Find supersaver tickets’ website [https://supersaver.sbb.ch].

02_EN.PNG

Here’s how it works

You specify where you would like to start your journey and the date on which you would like to travel. We then search for destinations that you could travel to with a supersaver ticket on the date specified.

Once you select a destination, we show you all the possible connections and the supersaver fares for both 1st and 2nd class. Supersaver fares are dynamic fares. The price overview makes it incredibly easy for you to compare the current prices and to find the best connection according to the supersaver price.

After you select a price, you can log in to the web shop and purchase the supersaver ticket.

The ‘Find supersaver tickets’ page helps you to find new travel destinations for a reduced price and also gives you the option of comparing supersaver fares.

Help us by giving us your feedback!

What is your impression of the page? Would you use this tool to plan your next trip and travel at a discount? Is there anything else you would like to see on the page? As a member of the SBB Community, you can give your feedback directly to the project team in the comments.

Thank you to all those who get involved!

Hello @MS3

No, you do not need to have a Hal Fare Travelcard in order to be able to purchase Supersaver tickets. In the step ticket options of your order, you will be asked to enter your discounds. You can choose "no discount"

I wish you an excellent day.

Kind regards, RahelW

Do I have to purchase a half-fare card to be able to book Super Saver Tickets with SBB?

Hi LorenzH.

I am trying to buy supersaver tickets, which are shown after I select the route and the departure time, but when I enter the passengers' data, supersaver tickets appear as available only for half travel cards, which we do not have. Is it right? Should I continue the purchase this way?

Hello @arvschmitt

You have to choose the Full Fare otherwise it's not valid, if you don't have the Half-Fare card.

Have a nice day.

Greetings, Aurora

When I put in the date, pick a location from the super saver ticket options then try to purchase the ticket at the super saver price it always says it's not available even though it just showed me that ticket and price.

How do I find actual available super saver tickets?

Hello @JRP ,

Supersaver tickets are limited and if they are no longer available then they should no longer be shown as an option online, we apologise for this.
Sometimes there is a delay in updating after purchase, which is why it still shows the offer.
Unfortunately, there is no other way to find out if the saver tickets are still available or sold out.

I wish you a lovely day
Kind Regards MelanieD
