Change a ticket

My train(Gare de Lyon to Basel/departs at 7:15 on 24th Dec.) is canceled because of the social movements in Paris. I was planned to go to Interlaken West by transfering in Basel, but I cannot go to Basel in time. (Basel train is supposed to depart at 11:28 am but I might arrive at 13:26 in Basel) Can I change the ticket(from Basel to Interlaken West) to later one?

Please contact the company where you bought your tickets by phone. If you bought your tickets at SBB, you can reach the specialists at +41 (0) 848 44 66 88 or +41 51 225 78 00 (CHF 0.08/min).

Hello @Scintia 

I assume you are holding a normal ticket for the Basel SBB to Interlaken stretch. This type of ticket is valid on any train; after arrival in Basel, you simply get on the next train to Interlaken, leaving hourly from Basel SBB at minute 59.

Even if you would hold a Supersaver ticket, in case of a train cancellation you are welcome to use the ticket from an earlier connection.

I hope you will make it to Switzerland albeit the circumstances.
