I am considering to get a half fare travel card for tourist after pre booked some of the intercity train for full fare (some are supersaver ticket). Will I be able to get a refund of tickets? Also, is there any charges for the refund? Thanks!

Hi @snowbellxx

A refund of the ticket is only possible if it is returned to the issuing office before the first day of validity. And no partial refunds possible for Swiss Half Fare Card.

This informations can be found here: Miscellaneous Provisions Swiss Travel System | Switzerland Tourism (myswitzerland.com)

To request more detailed information about your passport you can contact us via chat or by phone, you can find our contact details here: Overview | SBB help & contact

Have a sunny day.

Hi Stephanie,

Thank you for your reply. I have bought some supersaver tickets. Now that if I am getting a half-fare tourist travel card, can I request for refund without additional charges for tickets I bought at full fare? Thanks!

Hello @snowbellxx

There are special refund conditions for Saver Day Passes. You can find all info here: https://www.sbb.ch/en/help-and-contact/refunds-compensation/refunds-compensation/ticket-refunds.html

I wish you a nice day.
