How to get a live update of a trip

Is there a possibility of getting a live update on a trip for which you've purchased a ticket?

The trips and tickets view of the app gives an overview of a trip but no live update based on the actual status of a train. As I write this, I'm sitting in the train from Zurich HB already 3 minutes late, and I know I will miss my suggested bus connection in Baden. Instead of being notified of the delay, the overview assumes that the train is on schedule.

Based on my original trip, the app coujd suggest eitger alternative connections or the next phssible connection from Baden. This would be especially beneficial during morning commutes when travellers need to be on time for work...

Hi @PatriciaB

Thank you for your request

Delays and cancellations are also shown live in the Timetable of the SBB Mobile App. In case of a delay you can always contact the conductor directly if the train is accompanied by any staff. My colleague can make a request for correspondence, however, this is not always guaranteed.

I wish you a happy end-of-year holiday season.

Best regards

Thanks NicolasK.

How can we suggest improvements to the SBB app? My thought is to minimize the number of navigation and selection by sticking to the original trip overview and seeing connection suggestions from there. From a user experience, this would be greatly beneficial.

Hi @PatriciaB

Thank you for your comment. I pass this on to the application programmers.

Have a good day.
