cannot purchase my ticket with 2 children: Exclamation sign, purchase button disabled

SOLVED

Hello all,

Well, I guess my title trellis everything:

I am traveling with two children: a 3 years old and a 5 years old (birthdays correctly entered). For some random and obscure reason it seems that adding my daughter to any trip won't allow me to conclude the ticket purchase: the purchase ticket button is disabled.

I already removed my daughter and re-added her in the application, yet no change.

Hello @ro0ter

If you have a general problem/malfunctioning with the App, you can send an e-mail with the following information to ticketshop@sbb.ch so that we can check the cause:

- Manufacturer e.g. Apple, Samsung:

- Model e.g. iPhone 6, Galaxy S5:

- Operating system version e.g. iOS 9.1 or Android 5.1:

- SBB Mobile version, this is displayed in the app in the menu:

- Detailed error message with screenshot:

- Time of occurrence:

- Steps up to the error in order to be able to reproduce it:

- Access via the timetable or directly via the quick dial (network)?

- Which connection did you choose?

- Which ticket was selected (class, one-way/return, half/full fare)?:

TIP: The problem can be solved in most cases if you update the app or uninstall and reinstall it.

Have a nice day

Hello @ro0ter

Accompanied children under six years travel free of charge in Switzerland. The accompanying person must be at least 12 years old and hold a valid ticket. More informations you will find here:  Travelling with children | SBB

Kind regards

Hello, whilst child under 6 travel free with an adult accompanying, is there still need to generate a ticket with QR code indicating free purchase?

Hi @vanya1991

Thank you for your request.

Children under 6 years travel free of charge, there is no need to generate a QR ticket.

I wish you a nice Sunday.

Kind regards

Hello ManuelaP

Thank you for the reply.

I do know that children under 6 travel for free, it's just that I've always requested tickets for my children.

The interesting part is that I can purchase a ticket if I select only one of the children (either one), but I can't purchase any ticket if both children are selected.

I am sure that this worked in the past. My wife's SBB app started to misbehave a month ago and mine only a week ago.

Regards!
