Swiss travel pass, not able to reserve seat between Luzern - Brünig-Hasliberg

Hi, I have a Swiss travel pass and plan to travel between Luzern and Interlaken on 28/03/2023. I understand that the line between Meiringen and Interlaken Ost will be closed from 27 February to 2 April 2023. I tried to make reservation for Luzern - Brünig-Hasliberg but it is not possible. Any reason why?

As this is a panoramic train, reservations cannot be made via SBB.ch. You can only reserve seats for IC trains via our website.

Please contact an SBB ticket office directly for seat reservations for the desired train or book them here: https://shop.luzern.com/en/routing/zentralbahn
