Swiss pass needs to be reconnected to SBB app

My Swiss Pass has been linked to the SBB app successfully, however after a period of a few days to a week or so it needs to be reconnected in the app again. Is this a normal security feature?

I have the SBB preview app on my iPhone and on my iPad as well as the ZVV and tpg preview app, all linked with my Swiss Pass.

Thank you for your message.

This is a temporary problem in the app. We are aware of this error and are endeavouring to find a solution. 

In the meantime, you can proceed as follows:

  • In the top left of the navigation menu, select «Settings» and then «Other settings».
  • In «the other settings» under «MySwissPass» you can click «Remove the SwissPass card configuration».
  • Go back to «Settings» and select «My SwissPass».
  • Follow the further instructions.
  • Your SwissPass Mobile will now be displayed in the SBB Mobile app under «My SwissPass».
